"For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them.” Matthew 8:20

Even though we are having a meaningful and Spirit-filled online worship, the one element that we are missing in that is being able to see each other and to say “Hello”, even at a distance.  At our online annual meeting a couple weeks ago, it was suggested that we try a parking lot “coffee hour,” so here goes.

On the second Sunday of each month, starting on September 13th after the conclusion of our online service, we are inviting any who wish to drive over to the church and park (in every other parking space) in the lower parking lot.   Bring your coffee cup and your own coffee hour goodie.   Wear your mask when not drinking coffee.  And let’s greet each other.  Wave.  Smile.  Shout.  Laugh.  Catch up a little.  We can maintain a safe place at the same time we say hi.  Please join us.  Each second Sunday of the month.

The United Church of Bernardston is a federated church — a local church with a congregation made up of both United Church of Christ and United Methodist members. The United Church of Bernardston has ministries for children, youth and adults. We are an active church involved in community programs and events throughout the year. Please take a look around the website to learn more about us!

With respect to our exhibitors, vendors, volunteers and 6,000 - 8,000 guests, the United Church of Bernardston believes it would be in everyone's best interest to cancel the Bernardston Gas Engine Show and Flea Market for 2020.

For anyone who has purchased raffle tickets for the Trailer Raffle, this will still be held.  We also have this year's hats and t-shirts available.

Please, everyone be healthy, and we will see you in 2021.
